General criteria for the use of the offers of the TU-Nachwuchsring by the young scientists of the TUK
The offers of the TU-Nachwuchsring aim at all young researchers at TUK who can be assigned either to the group of doctoral candidates or to the group of researchers with a doctorate and who meet our general criteria of young researchers (listed below). In addition, the individual funding lines have further specifications which can be found in the respective announcements.
All doctoral students who are officially registered as doctoral students at TUK.
Researchers with a doctorate1
Persons with a doctorate (e.g. in research and teaching, but also other career paths) who work at the TUK (employees and scholarship holders), up to 6 years after the doctorate (considering periods outside of university, e.g. parental leave and industrial experience)
More than six years after receiving the PhD only with a verifiable status that justifies continued membership in the group of young researchers (e.g. junior professors, heads of junior group leaders, habilitation candidates, tenure-track professors)
1Equivalent qualifications may apply to individual disciplines (e.g. architecture).
